Confusing
Relatively easy to find and a cross course lane to a small car park. The 'clubhouse' was closed and there's an honesty box for a very cheap £7.50 for 9 holes and a tenner for 18.You then walk across a fairway to the first, which plays across the 3rd then after the 2nd, play the 3rd across the first ! That's what the course map on the card said but not where the actual winter tees were located. It was very confusing and if you are not paying attention very easy to play the wrong hole.
The greens were in the same poor state as when I last played there a few years ago. This course could be so much better with a bit of TLC and attention to the greens. There's better 9 hole courses about and for such a price it's tempting, but save your money and play a better course.
I won't be hurrying back.

I have no problems with winter mats/greens but at this stage winter has barely begun and compared to other local courses it's in a very shabby state. If I had paid a few quid I wouldn't have been so annoyed, but for the money it's a joke. Avoid.
