Lovely course

Lovely course, hidden away in st Neots, two 18 holes courses in really good condition, greens are great for this time of year!

A couple of greens have areas of repair. Some bunkers are in need of fresh sand.

Great course recommend playing after 3pm midweek as you get the course to yourself - Great views challenging shots if your not in the right place!

So good I joined as a 7 day member after only 4 rounds such a great course.
The staff are very good and very helpful. The course is challenging but very fulfilling when u hit a good shot. Give the course a go. Please let them know that I recommended you joe the barber

a bit up one side down the other, holes are fairly long but straight and not much adventure, thins and thick hits can be caught up with a good follow up shot, not a punishing course, no water and thin woods , little chance of losing balls, fairways are long and wide, a very forgiving course, greens are good but easily read. anyone with a handicap lower than 20 really should play the hotel course instead of cromwell. 15 quid a round is a good deal though and tee times are always available in winter. the real bonus with this course is that it is higher up and does not flood !

Considering how wet it's been course played well, but there is a lot of standing water on some fairways.

Very well laid out golf course.As mentioned below, the 1st hole Par 3 225 yards is a very tough start.
There are some very long par 4;s (One is in fact shorter than one of the par 5's!)
I really liked the fact that you get pretty much a different test on each hole, never 2 holes the same.
Some approach shots are simply stunning to look at as well.
Green were a little long but we had had lots of rain so probably expected. Even though they were long they still were ok. Probably near on perfect in the height of summer.
There are water features on a number of holes that just add to the already great course.
Very welcoming in the pro shop and club house too.
