Set in its own 200 acre parkland estate, the George Washington Golf and Country Club is a 103 bedroom hotel offering the latest modern amenities and conferencing facilities. Friendly staff will ensure that guests thoroughly enjoy their stay. Both the Abraham Lincoln Bar, Brasserie and Restaurant and the less formal Bunkers bar offer a varied menu of good quality cuisine and provide a perfect place for golfers to relax after a round on the Masters. What The Club Says

The George Washington Golf and Country Club hosts a fabulous par 73, championship course with a standard scratch of 71. Set in mature tree lined parkland, the course is home to a number of major regional competitions. The various natural hazards and tactical holes offer a good challenge of golf to both occasional and seasoned club players.

Worth playing

This is a good course unless it's been very wet sustained weather. It doesn't drain well but in normal conditions it's really good. It's flat, decent shop and bar, good driving range and a hotel attached for societies. Unlike some hotel courses, this is really good. Greens were in decent nick.
