What The Club Says
The Istanbul Golf Club is the fourth oldest golf club in Europe. It was first opened in 1895 as the Constantinople Golf Club around Okmeydany district featuring 12 holes. Later in 1911 the name and the location changed and the Bosphorous Golf Club in Bebek with its nine-hole course was opened until 1920.
Today the Istanbul Golf Club at the same location with its 9-hole course, is among the leading golf clubs in Turkey contributing to the spreading of golf in the country after 108 years.
