BBC 5 Live cover the agony and ecstasy of Q School

By: | Fri 23 Nov 2012

BBC Radio 5 Live have covered the build up to what many believe is the most important tournament of a players career - European Tour school Final Stage. A mixture of up and coming youngsters and seasoned professionals gather in Spain to battle it out over 6 rounds. The field is set at 156 players and is drawn from 1st and 2nd stage qualifiers, challenge tour players and players who have not made the top 115 on the race to dubai.

It is recognised as a brutal week with only 25 players receiving their playing rights for 2013 European Tour. The BBC Golf corresondent Iain Carter talks to past Ryder Cup star Oliver Wilson in a brilliant interview on what life is like on tour, the highs and lows and what a return to Q school means for him.
