
The British Masters 2025 - What You Need to Know
The Betfred British Masters remains at The Belfry for a fifth consecutive year, with the iconic tournament once again being hosted by Sir Nick Faldo between August 21st and 24th, and the stakes are high as Ryder Cup qualification for Team Europe reaches its conclusion.
Thousands of golf fans are expected to descend on the famous venue in the Midlands as many of the DP World Tour's best players take on the Brabazon Course, which retains a place in the heritage of the game after its unforgettable staging of the Ryder Cup in 1985, 1989, 1993 and 2002.
If you are planning to attend the event, or are keen to follow from home, here is what you need to know.
British Masters Tickets

General admission tickets are available from £35 for the Wednesday Pro-Am, with individual tickets also being on offer for each tournament day on Thursday (£40), Friday (£45), Saturday (£55) and Sunday (£60).
You can buy season tickets - covering all five days - from £145, while a weekend ticket, gaining you access on both Saturday and Sunday, will set you back £110.
Under 13s go free and youth discounts are available too.
Ticket+ (From £75) provides several additional benefits, while the 72 Lounge (From £275) is the premium experience.

Who is Playing in The British Masters?
Defending champion Niklas Norgaard is part of the field, and he is set to be joined by several notable names, including Matt Fitzpatrick, Danny Willett, Nicolai Hojgaard, Matt Wallace, Rasmus Hojgaard, Marco Penge and Ryder Cup captain, Luke Donald, who is there to see the qualification process for his team conclude, as the top six in the standings after the event will have secured their place at Bethpage Black.
British Masters Pro-Am
The four days of the tournament are the main event, but there is much to enjoy on the Wednesday too, pro-am day, when the gathered field of professionals will be joined by enthusiastic amateurs that include the likes of cricket legends Jos Buttler, Joe Root, Liam Livingstone, and Sam Curran, Olympic gold medallist and broadcaster Sam Quek, Jamie Christian, better known as ‘Giant’ from Gladiators, and England and Lions rugby star Ben Earl.
British Masters Retro Day
Part of the August Bank Holiday Weekend, Retro Saturday at the British Masters is sure to be a fun occasion. Spectators are being encouraged to wear vintage golf attire and will be judged in a Best Dressed competition by tournament host Sir Nick Faldo, with prizes up for grabs.
Beyond that, the championship village will feature themed entertainment, classic British food and drink, live music and games, making this a day to remember.
Ryder Cup 40th Anniversary Match
It's been 40 years since Tony Jacklin's European team ended generations of hurt by winning the Ryder Cup at The Belfry. On Tuesday, celebrating that anniversary, four legends of that side will return to the course in a nostalgic exhibition match.
Played across five holes (10th, 11th, 16th, 17th and 18th), starting at 4pm, Sir Nick Faldo will pair up alongside Ian Woosnam to take on Sandy Lyle and Sam Torrance in a fourball match play contest that will be showcased live on YouTube.
That will be the perfect introduction to what is sure to be a fantastic week at The Belfry.
