Motocaddy CUBE Push Trolley Review

REVIEW: Motocaddy CUBE Push Trolley

By: | Wed 05 Jul 2023

Since 2004, Motocaddy has become a household name within the golf industry due to the quality of their design and functionality for golfers of all ages and abilities.

The brand offers an extensive range of both push and electric trolleys that have now been joined by matching bags, accessories and even distance measuring devices.

Wanting something lightweight, compact and without the worry of needing to charge a battery, I was lucky enough to test the latest push trolley on offer - The Motocaddy CUBE

Looks

The trolley looks strong and sturdy giving the confidence it has been built to last and sustain its performance over different time periods and terrains.

The main frame itself looks looks very robust and the friction free oversize wheels look ready to take on any course, at any time of the year.

The drink, scorecard and accessory compartment all look great in design and blend in really well with the rest of the trolley.

The different colour options also add that bit extra depending on which you prefer.

Performance

With a really easy two-step folding system, it doesn't take too long to unfold and be ready for use. My bag (Tour stand bag) sits perfectly on and the adjustable straps give the confidence that your bag isn't going anywhere regardless of any lumps or bumps you take it over.

The trolley performs effortlessly. Having used this for numerous 36-hole competitions recently, in all different weather conditions and course types, I have been really impressed with the ease at which it has tackled the hilly terrain at my home course, but also the thick wet rough I experienced in a recent competition. At one stage I found myself having to take it through some rather dense patches of wild heather which also posed it no problems.

The adjustable handle height, one click parking break and the under storage net are also all excellent features to the CUBE.

The other great thing is the size when not in use.

I have seen trolleys claim to be 'small and compact' in the past, to then be let down slightly. But the CUBE is 40% smaller in size compared to the Z1 push trolley. In fact, when folded down, it sits nicely on a single seat in the back of my car. Should you feel the need to, the wheels are also quick release in case you did want to take them off to make it even smaller.

Motocaddy CUBE Trolley

Pros

I love everything about the CUBE push trolley, The biggest pro for me is the compactness and ease of movement - both when being used on the course and when moving it around before and after use.

Cons

You will struggle to find a downside for a push trolley that seems to have every angle covered.

The Bottom Line

Overall, Motocaddy have come up with a fantastic push trolley offering with the CUBE covering every aspect you could think of.

Ticking every box, the Motocaddy CUBE's sleek lightweight design and ease of use both before, during and after your round comes highly recommended should you be in the market for a new push trolley.
