How You Can Attend The Ryder Cup in 2023

By: Golfshake Editor | Wed 12 Oct 2022

European captain Luke Donald will be hoping to maintain a 30-year unbeaten record on home soil when the United States, led by two-time major winner Zach Johnson, seek to successfully defend the Ryder Cup at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Italy.

Located just ten miles from the centre of Rome, the venue is renowned for its elevation changes, making it perfect for spectating, with the Eternal City serving as the most special of environments.

And you could be there - as with the showpiece event less than a year away, there are still options to ensure that you can be part of the biggest event in the sport, something that is a must do for any golf fan!

Ticket Ballot

Weekly Tickets for the Ryder Cup are sold out, but daily tickets remain available and you will have to enter the ballot for an opportunity to claim them, with the cost starting at €50 and €60 for the Tuesday and Wednesday, €105 for the Thursday (including the opening ceremony) and €250 for each of the three match days on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

But if you want to get your hands on these tickets, then you'll have to be quick, as the ticket ballot closes on Sunday, 16th October

Official Premium Experiences

Offered by Ryder Cup Europe, there are several Premium Experience options available for golf fans, boasting a range of prices, vantage points and environments, including The Champions PavilionThe Captains Club and The Founders Lounge. These are undeniably expensive, but it's hard to beat the quality of hospitality provided.

The Ryder Cup

The Garden

Positioned between the Ryder Cup Fan Village and the 9th fairway at Marco Simone, limited tickets remain available for The Garden, which includes a Grounds Pass and access to two indoor spaces with private facilities. This option is sold out for the Saturday and Sunday, but availability remains for the festivities of Thursday and the main event on Friday.

Golfbreaks Packages

If you have exhausted the other possibilities, hope remains through our travel partners, Golfbreaks, who still have SEASON TICKET PACKAGES available for fans to experience the entire week in style.

This package includes five nights of accommodation at the Pinewood Hotel Rome, Ryder Cup Season Tickets, daily tournament transfers and access to the opening and closing ceremonies.

Now, it doesn't really get any better than that, so if you want to support Luke Donald and Team Europe, this might just be the most appealing option!
