PING G425 Drivers Review

Ready for the 2021 golf season, PING has recently launched a trio of new G425 Drivers, which offer something for everyone. Golfshake's Equipment Expert, Ryan Rastall, provides a full overview on the range in the below video.

The new drivers all share a new T9S+ forged faced, which helps to improve forgiveness, ball speed and distance, along with a redesigned dragonfly pattern and turbulators. Additionally, the three models all boast Arccos Smart Caddie Grips alongside enhanced adjustability with tungsten weighting.

Considered the primary model, MAX includes a 460cc head and is available in 9, 10.5 and 12 degrees and is the most forgiving in the range with the highest MOI due to the 26g weighting.

Elsewhere, the LST (low spin technology) features a slightly smaller 445cc head and is available in 9 and 10.5 degrees and is aimed at a player who produces a higher clubhead speed.

Finally, the SFT (straight flight technology), is the draw bias model aimed at the player who is looking for a straighter flight.
