Bad condition

Nice layout but terrible condition. Bad for your clubs and ball. Looked amazing online and should have been a great end to our trip but the worse course we played.

This place should be shut down!!

Played here on May 14, 2023. They went through some hard times, but they now have a new owner. The new owner must not have any money either. This place has 'broke' written all over it. One previous review before COVID stated the player "lost his will to live" halfway through the round. That, in my opinion, was kind of him. It's a crime for this dog track to stay open in its condition. Where to begin? The so-called club house is at best a tin shack. The carts are well past their prime. More on that later. The person at the counter advised us that while it was OK to drive in the fairways, to please not drive in the 'mood' (mud). Allegedly it rained the day before. The range balls appeared to be relics from an archaeological dig. Many were permanently discolored and on too many of them the dimples were worn down about 50% of their depth. The greens and tees were green in color. The tees were fine, but the greens were bumpy and slow. Moreover, the cups looked like they were cut a week earlier. 2-foot putts were a crapshoot to keep on line. Every single bunker was washed out and played as ground under repair. The Bermuda grass fairways were dead. It's a real challenge to kill Bermuda but they managed to do it. We struggled to play preferred lies on the nearly-bare dirt. This place is a joke at best. To top off a horrible experience, my cart died on the 10th hole. Miraculously, they found and delivered a 'fresh' one. Jack Nicklaus designed it, and it could've been something. He should ask to have his name removed from this dump. It's horrible and it deserves to die a painful death. Please avoid this place at all costs! It is literally the worst golf course I've played in decades. They ruined a nice goat farm when they built this wreck of a place. Never again!!

Bad bad bad

Sparse bare patchy fairways. And 99 eros for a round with a buggy. Never again. Robbed. This was once a top 10 course. Now its not even in the top 100000. Make improvements or no one will ever go back. Or offer a discount whole its being refurbished.

Outstanding track

Far and away the best course I’ve played in the Murcia region. This was clearly built as a championship course (I understand the Spanish Open and even Ryder Cup were touted) but the crash put paid to those aspirations. It was closed for a couple of years and the fairways are really in bad shape, but the greens and bunkers are good and the lay out is terrific. May not suit high handicappers as it’s 6800yds off the yellows (7600yds off the whites) but the positioning of the water and sand traps makes shot making a challenge on nearly every hole.

Good but needs improvement

The course is at a good standard considering it's closure for the covid years.
It still has some work to do but it's playing well with local rules pick and place etc.

This course is difficult lots of bunkers in front of the greens and on the course in general this course has also suffered from the recent storms lower handicap golfers would enjoy.

Good course

Drains really well and playable in wet conditions, good value when other courses are under water. Not the easiest of courses when the wind blows and a good challenge of your ability, greens really good and running true

Great course, needs aproper clubhouse

This really is a great course. Beautifully set up and a proper challenge for all golfers. They do need to get round to putting in a clubhouse that does the course justice though.
It currently looks like a coupe of porta-cabins stuck together. Don't get me wrong here. The welcome is warm and the café style bar serves very good food. It just doesn't fit the quality of the course.
The practice facilities are probably the best I've come across in Spain.
We played here after recent flooding, the course is back in great condition but the bunkers were all GUR.
