Manawatu Golf Club (Hokowhitu) is situated in Palmerston North's Suburb of Hokowhitu bordering on the banks of the Manawatu River and the city's Centennial Lagoon.

The club claims the title as having the oldest golf course in New Zealand and has a proud history of hosting New Zealands top Professional and Amateur events including 5 NZ Open Championships, 8 NZ Amatuer Championships and various other national championships.
