What the club says: A compact golf course at around 5,000 yards. It has short walks between greens and the next tee and with a round taking a little over three hours, the golfer will have had their game tested, enjoyed a walk in a traditional golf setting.

Lovely day out
Played in a society day on a Sunday course had dried out from a very wet Winter, the greens were very true running but hadn't had a Summer cut yet, but really potential to be brilliant when they do. Welcome from the bar staff was excellent and friendly. All in all a lovely day out.Reviewer Rating

A field with some holes
Quite sad. Expecting an interesting round based on the reviews but it was quite a boring and easy course. It didn't feel like a golf course and was more of a field with some holes on it. We drove most greens or were a short pitch away. Not the best winter conditions with mud piles all around the green. Had to lob most chips onto the green. Putting was a lottery with hollow tines. Id say it's a good beginners course but for the price you pay, you have plenty of better options in the area.Reviewer Rating

Leave Your Driver At Home
Short and quite tight in places. Few holes that cross so beware people playing the wrong ball! It is a decent course and always found it to be in good condition. Greens usually play pretty well. If I go back I will probably go full on Stenson and just use my 3 wood / hybrids off the tee, which isn't a necessarily a bad thing the way I am driving. Had a couple of issues with members being a bit odd on a couple of occasions but guess we were just a tad unlucky.Reviewer Rating

My husband played the course too (he has played for 30+ years and he thoroughly enjoyed it too.
The course is beautifully maintained and most of the greens were perfect.

Great course especially for short game
This is a lovely short golf course which is well presented and will help you work on all aspects of your game. The course is not long but there are some interesting and challenging holes. It is well worth a visit and rarely closed even in the worst weather due to excellent drainage systems. The greens are consistent and run true also.Reviewer Rating

Great course for short game
I love this course. It is short but has a number of challenging holes and no 2 holes are the same. I recommend it comprehensively and often visit in order to sharpen up my short game before a golf wekendReviewer Rating

Thinking course
Excellent condition, greens perfect. You have to be in the right position on the fairway to get at the flags, not always requiring a driver as position off the tee is paramount(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 88 Handicap: 16)
