What the club says: Forest Pines (Forest Pines)
The stunning championship layout at Forest Pines was opened in 1996 and has rapidly become one of the must play courses in the UK. The fairways twist and turn their way through majestic pines and then into open heathland and despite its tender years, Forest Pines is reminiscent of a more established championship course. Split into three 9 hole loops, the Pines, the Beeches and the Forest, it plays at 6,882 yards in its longest combination. Designed by John Morgan and constructed to exceptionally high standards, it was voted the best new course in England by Golf World magazine almost immediately after it was opened and has hosted the Ericsson Midland PGA Championship for the last three years.

home courseHome course . Always in great condition whatever the time of year. The clue is in the title, be straight or be in the woods.

Fantastic as always !Always a great venue for our golf society away weekend and the variation in the three nine holers makes for great competition. Food and drinks always lovely and the professionalism and friendliness of the staff is very welcoming. Greens were immaculate and for me the Beeches course is my favourite for a number of reasons including lovely tree lined greens and undulating fairways, plus a couple of decent par 3's. We will certainly be back !
Day 2 of golf breakLots of trees, sign posted well as all 3 nine hole courses intermingled, some of the fairways were not at there best, but with the summer we have had, but the greens were well maintained if a bit 2 paced.

As ever a great day here. Most people will know of Forest Pines - it's one of Golfbreaks.com biggest sellers in England. The day was a complimentary thank you and celebration for those people around Lincolnshire and Yorkshire who use Golfbreaks.com hosted by the company.
For those who haven't played it - FP is a tricky track that can yield good scores if the ball is kept on the fairway from tee to green. There are many intimidating tee shots here and accuracy from the tee is key.
The whole course screams quality as does the venue itself and great value deals can be found there. It's excellent throughout. Tee boxes manicured perfectly, fairways keep the ball safe, off of the fairway and there's trouble, but generally (unless you are very wayward or your ball takes up swimming lessons) where the wayward shot lands is the punishment, there's no hidden dangers (like knee-high rough under trees) so it is also a fair course. The greens were immaculate, fast and very true, bunkers were well maintained and playable from, it's also a pretty course at this time of year so those who aren't playing well can enjoy the scenery. I've never played really well here but I've never hit a complete disaster either but finding that extra gear to pull out the really good scores tends to be beyond me at this course. There were 60 players invited by Golfbreaks.com for the day the winning points score was 36 for the gents and 28 for the ladies, and the team comp (best 2 stb scores on each whole from the fourball) was only won with 86 - so it played tough but fair once again.
If you haven't played here it's a must visit course that is better priced than a lot of it's contemporaries. Well worth a day!

Three in oneForest Pines have three distinct nines, each very different characteristics from the other. Two of the courses are very narrow and challenging and one has a number of challenging bunkers. The course was in good condition and I look forward to going back.
Like coming homeAlways like a course in good condition and this always is.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Challenging but enjoyable courseI am a mid to high handicapper and those bunkers really punished me when I landed in them. Admittedly the weather in the weeks before our visit was very wet so some bunkers suffered as a result. The undulating greens were well-maintained and very fast. Superbly maintained fairways too. All in all a challenging but thoroughly enjoyable set of courses
LovelyGreat facilities, staff were great, course in superb and food was excellent. 8 of us came on a two day away and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.
