What The Club Says
The course is in a parkland setting bordered by two Lochs which add to its tranquil setting. It has a number of holes which are tightly lined by trees which add to the challenge of the course. A par 69 course playing from the visitors Tee's and a par 71 from the medal Tee's (Lochview Course)
The Club was established in 1997 and has approximately 150 members who contest for a number of different trophies throughout the season. These include monthly medals, a summer league and a winter league.

Mixed bag.
Lochview is a good little course but I feel like it needs a lot of T L.C. There is a lot of work needing to be done on there as, like the drainage and upkeep of the greens. When it is at its peak it's a cracking golf course. It's well worth a visit in the summer but the winter its a very hit and miss type of course. The staff there are very welcoming and the cafe is good for a visit. The golf range would be better if it was opened before 10am as it would give the patrons that are paying a good warm up before they play.Reviewer Rating

good course needs more maintenance
if the course was maintained & invested in, it would attract a steady source of income, typical of council lack of vision. drainage required, paths and general upkeep, could be a great local course for a bounce game.Reviewer Rating

Good course
Enjoyed a round on a good course ..price was very reasonable greens in good shape ...pace of play good ...will play again(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 109 Handicap: 20.8)

A lot better
Used to play this course years ago.It suffered from bad drainage,and would be like a bog with any rain.They have done some work on the drainage,and after quite a wet week it played a lot firmer.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 91 Handicap: 27.7)

Lochview
This was the first time I had played this course in a few years. Still some drainage problems on some of the holes. The greens have certainly improved since I last played. A course that is alright if you just want a quick round.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 96 Handicap: 26.9)
