Church Stretton, Offers - Four-Ball Special

By: Golfshake Editor | Tue 15 Mar 2016

The stunning Church Stretton golf course in Shropshire is offering an incredible offer for four-balls until May, with groups being able to play the stunning Shropshire course for ONLY £40 (£10pp), which is a 75% discount on the regular green free. This deal is available on any day of the week, subject to availability.   Church Stretton Golf Club is highly rated on Golfshake and a course well worth a visit.

Sitting atop majestic hills, the 18-hole courses can boast panoramic views across the surrounding landscape, with the layout itself having been in place for more than a century. During that time, the likes of Sandy Lyle, Ian Woosnman and Sir Henry Cotton all graced its fairways, while the legendary Harry Vardon and James Braid assisted in the development of many of the holes.

Regularly described as being a "spectacular golfing experience", the course features heather-lined fairways that channel through cavernous valleys, which eventually lead to undulating greens that will test even the most proficient of putting strokes. This all ensures for a reasonable challenge to players of all standards, despite the yardage being short by modern standards.

With sandy soil and excellent drainage, the course is always in good condition, which is another aspect that has impressed visitors from leading golf publications. They have described it as being a "unique gem" and a layout that "anyone who loves the game shoul play". High praise, indeed.

If you want to see what the fuss is about, then take advantage of this amazing deal of £40 for a four-ball. It is running until the 1st of May 2016, and to claim, players must email [email protected] to reserve a tee time, and mention Golfshake.
