Shocking condition !!! Greens are probably the worst greens I have ever played on. Will never play here again, especially for £20, and that was late afternoon. Course is very shabby, piles of mud on sides of quite a few fairways. I know the course is trying to upgrade, but charging £20 or more is outrageous.

Needs some attention but great value and quick round
Looks a little tired and in need of some cash to be spent on it but it's great value Twilight and easy to get round quickly in a buggy(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 93 Handicap: 0)

Needs some work

Improving
Course in reasonable condition given recent wet weather. Greens vastly improved over last 12 months. Bunkers still all GUR but lots of work being deon around course to improve,(Round played: Jan 2018 - Score: 89 Handicap: 15.7)

Not great
Frankly the course is not in good condition. The fairways were long on most holes , think first cut or worse. The greens were bobbly and slow. All the tee boxes were a mess and hadn't been cut. A lot of the bunkers are either mud or full of weeds.And yest despite all of this work seems to be going on to add new features (ponds, bunkers etc.) around the course. Surely getting what's already in place sorted and keeping it that way should be the priority?
No way it's worth the £25 they're charging at present, far better golf locally for less money.

new owners have improved the course with a new green keeper who is doing a great job, but there is a long way to go, maybe give it another year.

Not a great course. Fairways to dry and broken and the greens were rock hard and no grass on them. Needs a lot of work and water in general. Also the bunkers had hardly any sand in them making it virtually impossible to get out.

They seemed to be in a management transition when I played, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, but in my view they're on the border between an ok to good course facilities and a field in the middle of nowhere on the other. They need to sort the greens, they're amongst the worst I've ever played on - full of craters and about 20 different kinds of plants growing in them - cost me at least 4 stroke
