A nice woodland course with plenty of variety, some nice par 3s and some testing par 4/5s. Greens in excellent condition

been here a few times some work being completed to improve facilities,ground still soggy underfoot and can hinder play on some holes.

Most say that I'm really surprised at the course, the greens are in amazing condition compared to some of the top courses and I'll surely be back

Not much to look at when you arrive but very pleasant. Course was in very good condition after 3 days of heavy rain, bit too much sand on a few of the greens but for £12 some good long holes ! Never really saw anyone and done in 3 hours ! Will be popping back in summer definitely.

A little bit of a hidden gem this one. Straightforward first 6 holes with wide fairways and plenty of birdie chances (there are a number of par 4s around the 300 yard mark). The middle 6 holes are tough and very interesting, using the contours of the land very well. While not the longest holes, they have been crafted to provide a challenge. You need to think about the course, it's certainly not a course where you can blast away off the tee without thinking. Played in hot weather so the greens were hard and difficult to stop a ball on, but generally they were flat and true. The only criticism I'd have was the quality of some of the tees, they were a little rough, the grass was long and they weren't overly flat.
If this course was a tenner it would be great value. At the £12.50 we paid online it is still very much worth a visit.

Nice place for a social round, back nine is hilly and provides a real challenge.. Accuracy is key. Greens could do with some improvement but all in all a cracking place

The course could be good, if someone got to grips with the greens,they are very hard and unreceptive, its ok if you dont mind playing short and running on all of the time, but ruins what could be a good course.
As for the teeing areas, well most are very ,very poor, with very little flat space on them.
The bunkers are shallow and almost not worthwhile, with very hard sand, all of this said it could be very good if they spent the time sorting these things out, well laid out and varied... but i'd think twice about playing here untill they wise up a bit and get the basics right.

Beautiful course, some challenging holes, some blind shots due to 1st time played. All in all a very impressive course. 6th and 12th holes tough, last 5 plenty of birdie chances
