Brierley Forest Golf Club
Brierley Forest Golf Club is located in a wooded area, which makes for a truly outstanding location in which to enjoy a round of golf. Whether you are a high handicapper or relatively newer to the game altogether, you will find plenty here to keep you on your toes throughout so be sure to keep your concentration and temperament in the face of some extremely tricky hazards which will have you scratching your head in bewilderment at times as how best to successfully negotiate your way around them. The course is excellently maintained all throughout the year by the dedication and tremendous efforts of the greenkeeping staff.Contact Information

The reception from the staff and members is welcoming.
The course has a nice layout, very challenging and you need good course management.
The course is NOT WELL MAINTAINED though which is a pity. The tee boxes need a lot of work, and the greens are in an AWFUL state, with big bold patches dotted about on them.Club Facilities and Services

The course is cheap to play and the greens are in fair condition for the money that you pay. The club house is very basic and there is no driving range, putting green or chipping green.

For the money you pay the course is OK, although some of the greens need some TLC. The back 9 is a real test. Planning is in place to redevelop the club house and driving range area which at present are only adequate.

Recently been taken over. Nice and friendly.
Tricky course front nine very hilly (hard to find a flat lie). Back nine excellent. Mostly small greens but some are hard to read. I like it so i joined!

do not play if its rained the drainage is very poor.the greens are either very small or in terrible condition

In the last ten years this course as developed from being new and rough
to very good in the last two years.
There is still room for improvement but with time it can only get better.
