Pleasantly surprised.
To give some context....Good Friday, ?15 a round, everywhere else fully booked....course was thus very busy. However, once off the first tee the pace of play was ok. The course is actually very good. Undulation changes, some tough par 4s, the par 3s are all a challenge with good bunkering. Was it in great condition, not really (bumpy greens and some boggy fairways) but would I return for ?15? Nice track
I really enjoyed Stanley Park, its a nice municipal. Nicely laid out with some interesting holes, especially on the front 9, once you cross the road.There are a couple of short par 4's to have a go at & all the par 3's are very nice.
Greens are in good condition & it looks like they are working hard to make the course even better.
Top that off with some really friendly locals, all in all a really pleasant experience.

Decent enough course, few issues with water logging but other than that greens in decent condition and fairways in ok condition too

Local course some holes were soggy under foot plenty of plugged balls due to weather otherwise nice relaxed course to play

We played the course last year and it was in great condition but due to the very poor winter and early spring the course was very wet and untidy with the greens in a very poor state. This is understandable taking the weather in to consideration. Will play again next season but maybe later in the year.

Enjoyed playing my local course have played it many times.Front nine greens not in the best condition but ok,back nine a lot better,took along time to play although it wasn't busy very slow 3ball in front who wouldn't let us through .Overall very enjoyable.
