Poorly maintained
Terrible greens and obviously being run down by council. To add insult to injury massive raw sewage leak on some holes with JCB on fairwaysReviewer Rating

Mack Golf should be ashamed
I played here last summer and the course was much improved, apparently mainly thanks to new staff.There appears to have been little or no investment since then and the head greenkeeper has left, which is understandable. Some holes are unplayable due to wet conditions ie up to your ankles in mud when Mack Golf website says the course is open, no buggies or trolleys. I appreciate we've had a wet season but the total lack of investment is now obvious. Talking to a few poor members, it seems a lot will not be renewing their membership this April.I don't blame them. Mack Golf need to put serious investment here and reinstate the good staff or else this place will revert to Blackpool Council who will be happy to sell it for unaffordable housing. Shame. It used to be good. Mack Golf should be ashamed to let good staff go and not invest at all in the course.I will not be back.

Played over the weekend, course drying out but greens awful. Fairways too long like playing from the rough. Tee boxes are uneven and too long. No rakes in the bunkers. Overall course was of a poor standard, looks like no work has been attempted over the winter. Wonder where the money from green fees and memberships actually go?

The course was in poor condition, greens inconsistent across putts and holes. fairways bare in places, drainage channels not turfed over.
this course has gone downhill since 2011 when it was very tidy.

could be good
shame, once great course now in poor condition. has improved with the better weather recently but greens are still shockingly bad, almost unplayable. they really spoil the course and the round in general.Reviewer Rating

Not value for money,very poorly kept course,tee's uneven and bare,fairways full of weeds and daisy's.The greens are infested with creeping meadow grass and are slow and bobbly,on the whole it's quite tatty with long knee high grass around tee's,long fairways,no investment.

Where do we start ! teeboxes uneven and divot strewn,farways long and full of daisys,greens slow and infested with different fescues.Nice layout but in need of investment and TLC. (played june 2015 hdcp 5/score 78)

I was reasonably impressed with the course considering its a municipal. The greens however are rough overall, and one hole was set up on a winter green due to work being completed on the normal green.( Come on Mack, its the 19 June !) The pace of play was very slow and it took us over 4 hours to complete a two ball through no fault of our own. The superb weather however helped us enjoy the day

No Range, Small Putting Green, No halfway. Decent Course Conditions, Layout odd, need to cross main road to get from hole 2 to hole 3, Overall decent course for price, good for beginners would play again.
