Great course, not overly long so suits the higher handicapper and those who dont hiy it long but great for all!!!

Good course in good condition with excellent greens. Only criticism would be condition sof bunkers. Plenty of sand but didn't seemed to have been raked. Lots of animal and human footprints in all bunkers. Very bad

Wow perfect greens!! After quite a lot of heavy rainfall the rough was quite wet as expected but the fairways were good and greens superb, great roll with good pace (played worse in the summer at some places!) I've played this course a few times the only thing that lets it down is the not so welcome chap in the pro shop. Grumpy to say the least. Example:- a couple of mates and myself turned up at 7:45 with a tee of 8:04. The place was deserted but he made us wait until exactly 8:04!! Seriously what is the point!

very scenic coarse with a few challenges. Fairways are well looked after as were the greens, but not perfect.

Very rude people as they are members. The green keeper said we were holding people up even tho they wasn't nobody behind as!!! Fairways were in bad conditions on some holes and wasn't worth the money.

Plays long, need to get a good drive on most holes, one short par 5 that you can score well on 1 par 4 you can reach in 1 from the yellows.

Typical Essex course; wide fairways, not very mature trees and bunkers placed in rather dull positions. All very straight and predictable. Greens lovely and fast, condition good. Pretty area but not a course I'd rush back to...Thorndon,Romford and Thorpe are more challenging for good players.

Good condition; the greens and fairways were spot on. The course is not long and therefor if your a long hitter you rarely have to use mid irons. £30.00 for a monday was a bit steep for what was on offer
