Best course I have played so far in Essex, greens amazing and tee boxes looked after well. Being a mid to high handicap golfer it was a difficult course but a few great shots made it great. We will definitely be returning

One of the best courses in Essex with value to match
Played this course a number of times in the last few years and after the week of rain we have had, I didn’t have the highest hopes that the course would be dry especially so early in the morning. The course was in perfect condition with greens fast and rolling pure even with morning dew. The course isn’t the longest and can be fairly forgiving (as a higher handicap player), but provides some pretty amazing looking holes. For £45 a round on a weekend you can’t get any better in my opinion. Also helps when you shoot your two best ever scores there, great course.Reviewer Rating

This golf course is in great condition and is well maintained throughout the year. The holes provide an interesting and challenging golf experience, and the overall standard is very high.

Lovely course with the advantage of sprinklers on the fairways, greens fantastic. Unfortunately the clubhouse has been closed for a long time but a new pro shop is well stocked. They used to do a great breakfast.

Brilliant and well managed course, for how busy the course was we found the tee times were staggered perfectly and we were never waiting more than a couple of minutes to tee off. Nice tiny little golf shack at start, shame there is no cafe/bar to have a beer or some lunch after round.

Great course
The clubhouse is currently being renovated but the temp building is nice. The range needs a bit of work but hitting off turf is great to see. The putting green was in great condition and was running very quick.The last 3 holes and the tee boxes let the course down. But the scenery, the fairways, greens and rough was brilliant. I?d strongly recommend this course. Playing off the yellows, some of the holes were a bit short, eg 2 par 4s around 250-270 yards.
