Toot Hill
Great course in tip top condition, although it’s not long there are some hard holes, the design is very well thought out, the only issue at the moment is there is no bar/clubhouse etc but hopefully this will be rectified in the future.I would suggest the Green Man pub down the road for great food and drink.

The course itself is in immaculate condition and really enjoyable to play. The only reason it's not a 10 is no clubhouse and you don't have any kind of halfway house to get a cold drink/hot drink etc.

Brilliant and well managed course, for how busy the course was we found the tee times were staggered perfectly and we were never waiting more than a couple of minutes to tee off. Nice tiny little golf shack at start, shame there is no cafe/bar to have a beer or some lunch after round.

Good quality course. Tee boxes and greens were well cared for. The only issue was that it is rather short. It is rated so highly but on some holes, you?d need to play off the white tees for it to be a proper hole.

Tooting their own horn
The good: well designed, beautiful course with well maintained fairways.The bad: atrocious rate of play (longest round I’ve ever played, 5+ hours one ball, overtaking 4 groups), rude and pretentious starter staff and greens which had just been punched and sanded (putting was all but impossible) with no notice from staff.
This course is highly overrated but the green fee doesn’t hurt enough to complain, I just won’t be returning. You can find much better value across Essex and London.

Great course
The clubhouse is currently being renovated but the temp building is nice. The range needs a bit of work but hitting off turf is great to see. The putting green was in great condition and was running very quick.The last 3 holes and the tee boxes let the course down. But the scenery, the fairways, greens and rough was brilliant. I?d strongly recommend this course. Playing off the yellows, some of the holes were a bit short, eg 2 par 4s around 250-270 yards.
