beautiful course well maintained. No slow play here thanks to excellent starter.
superb hotel facilities too.

Nice parkland course, played just after the Trilby tour event and the course was immaculate, would definitely play again

Tight but fair course

Short course, small greens, fluffy aprons.
What this course lacks in yardage (5.5.k) it makes up for in some tight treelined fairways, smaller greens with very fluffy aprons, making short pitches perilous.The course was rammed and whilst there was excellent etiquette allowing faster smaller groups to play through, this is a four hour round, so make sure you check the sunset time.
It was also quite boggy and not all parts had good drainage.
Great hotel, excellent food and service. Recommend for "overnight society" visits and will play and stay there again - Mike. Handicap 15.8

Average Marriot resort course
In decent condition but a fairly average layout. Lots of similar length holes. A good collection of par 3 holes, the 4th in particular is stunning. Only 2 par fives both with some of the tighest fairways you will ever encounter. Not a bad course by any means, lots of elevation change, just nothing special outside of a couple of the par threes.(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 77 Handicap: 3.5)

Went to the pro shop to let them know that we were there my friend was to pay. He called out to me and said did you pay and I said yes ?78 the guy in the shop came out and said no when you book the money doesn't come out of your account so you haven't paid.
We then had to paid for the round of golf ?78, when I got home I checked my bank and the money had been taken out, I then tried call the pro shop and on the 10th time the phone was answered I explained what had gone on and the guy said yes know I was the man in the shop now what to do now I need to talk to my manager can I call you back, I asked when will this be he said that afternoon.
He did call and said you can have a free game but in fact it's not a free game it's the game I paid for.

Lovely parkland course
One of my favourite courses in the area. In very good condition throughout and the greens were like lightening! If you haven't played here - Give it a try, you wont be disappointed.Reviewer Rating

Enjoyed the round and course in excellent condition. Played off whites and it makes a few holes much more harder.

Course is in fantastic condition. Staff are very friendly and seem to catered for all our needs. We were a society of 18 players and felt it was excellent value for money. Great level of customer service as you'd expect from a marriott.
