The Ridge Golf Club
This 6,242 yard course was designed by Patrick Dawson, architect of the Belfry. The superb views over The Weald and the layout, including 20,000 established trees, give the course a mature interesting feel making it particularly popular with societies. The natural draining qualities of the greensand upon which the course is laid, minimises the problem of surface water. This together with the fully computerised irrigation system and the expertise of the groundsmen ensures the course is maintained to the highest standard.

Fairways and tee boxes needed some water but the greens were in good condition, very fast. A number of tight holes and some thought is required for club selection as some of the dog legs require an iron rather than driver. Overall a good course, that i would play sgain.

verry well maintained course. with a good freindly atmosphere between members and non members and staff. the price of a round is reasonable for the high standard that the course is kept.

My first full round after a 7 year break and first time at The Ridge, so not a lot to compare to recently, however, I found the course in good condition with a good mix of length and shape to each hole. Will definately play again

I find this course demanding due to the numerous
doglegs requiring the ability to use not just your
driver from the tee.

A NICE PARKLAND COURSE WITH NICE FAIRWAYS AND FAST GREENS. THE HOLES ARE NOT LONG BUT YOU HAVE TO BE ACCURATE OF THE TEE. NO NEED FOR A DRIVER A 3 WOOD IS ADEQUATE.

Well maintained golf course, greens good. Only concern 18th green very close to clubhouse/seated area. 18th is a Par 5, so long approach shots coming in. 2 approaches bounced off clubhouse wall over our heads in seated area.
