Not great

The main problem is that members are very unwelcoming to guests staying at the hotel. Openly hostile and that includes the Marshall etc . The course clearly lacks investment eg greens very poor. Not much better than a council run course. Avoid if possible.

Needs TLC

It's good to see courses are open. Tudor Park is normally a wonderful setting but post crisis the whole place is in desperate need of TLC. The fairways are in a shocking state; there is little definition to the first cut; the greens need mowing and ironing; and the general feel is of tiredness. It's a real shame and can only hope that more time is spent on the course by the greenkeepers after furlough to improve the place.

Understand maintenance needs to be done especially this time of year but was told from the club shop that greens were treated/spiked two weeks ago and should be good to go. Today on 4 holes we had to wait until the greens were treated with heavy sand and rolled over/spiked into the green. On one hole we had to wait 5 minutes. Greens were sandy, bobbly, untrue. Tee off was just before 1pm and was charged a premium £20 for this which I thought was steep. No doubt the course will be in good condition in 2-3 weeks time

The main bulk of the course was good however the greens were ridiculously uneven. With the lightest puts the ball was jumping and bobbling all over the place. I have played courses were the greens needed draining but it never effected the show to this extent.

Tough greens

Nice course too many flying ants can’t be helped and crap on the greens, the par 4’s are extremely long esp if your drives are a tad wayward, on the whole nice course but not up there with my favourites

The fairways are in poor condition, and the rough has not been cut back, greens need attention, and the holes need work.

Very challenging due to the windy conditions. My 36 hole battery lost power whilst playing the 16th. I put this down to the amount of mud sticking to the wheels. Bunkers were in good condition and so were the greens. Quite expensive to play here considering the amount of mud on the fairways.
