What the club says: In two loops of nine holes, our mature parkland course unusually starts and finishes with a par 3. The first is a gentle start but look out for the railway. Indeed, all the early holes require solid tee shots, and generally favour the player who draws the ball, as most of the trouble is found on the right of many fairways. The course features some beautiful landscaped and challenging holes, many with excellent views of the North Downs and the beautiful surrounding Kent countryside.

Lovely layout, drainage needs to bed in
Enjoyable course, with a very pleasant pro and lovely food afterwards. Unusually this course starts and ends with a par 3, so being accurate with a short club on your first shot is essential. Some great holes with fairway camber meaning you hit high up the fairway and hope it stays there. Has recently had drainage fitted so channels still there and do make it look a bit in need of time to cover up. Greens were fine, bunkers decent. As it was really windy I would love to play it again in calmer conditions. A very reasonably priced course in an area where golf can be very expensive.Reviewer Rating

On arrival at Bearsted golf club you are presented with the site of a very good looking and modern Club house. The staff were friendly and accommodating and a good selection of food and beverages were available. The course was in a beautiful setting and was in overall good condition although the greens had just been tined and probably did not reflect how they would normally run. Bearsted was in great condition, it was in better condition than other clubs at the time when I visited in 2022.

Hadn't played here in ages. Course in excellent condition. Loads of variety to it and has the slightly odd quirk or starting and ending with a Par 3. Greens were decent if a little firm. Rolled well though. Excellent food in clubhouse post round and made to feel very welcome as a society. Look forward to heading back.

Great condition
First time I've played and course was in great condition. Watch out for the driving range though on one of the holes as balls can get quite close to you and if you go left you're in trouble!(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 114 Handicap: 26.7)
