The coarse is quite short and very forgiving. Although the coarse does not have a signature hole, it doesn't have any boring ones. The greens are quite fast and hard to read. Great views and only £15 P/R

was a good course nice layout with some great playing shots, bit to hilly and complex for a beginner mind you.

Not a bad little course, some of the green in need of a bit of care and attention (prob winter weather) although other greens were fantastic.

Really good value during the week for £14 and good value at £21 at the weekends. A short course even for a novice (I never use more than a 7 iron after hitting drives) it challenges good wedge play with quite small, sloping greens which when I visited had been cut very short and were very, very fast; one uphill putt rolled past the hole and then back down again!
A bit tough on the legs with a big hill in the centre of the course dominating the 3rd, 8th and 16th holes but a good workout. Leave your driver at home for an extra challenge!

Was warned that this was a tricky course and the warnings were right. Yardages were hard to calculate so course knowledge or a good GPS would be really useful. Course itself was in lovely condition, with fast and well maintained greens. Not too short off the whites.

I play this course on a regular basis and although not the most challenging in terms of hazards its a good test for the moderate golfer.
Only complaint would be the attitude of some members who think they have a god given right to play through, using a lack of manners and course etiquette.
The clubhouse staff are very friendly, especially Ivy, and you'll go a long way to get a better bacon and egg roll!!!

Very nice course and very reasonable. Good club house and cheap food and drink. Gre.at greens and quite a few water hazards. I play there every two weeks, and do not get bored of the course

The greens were in great condition despite the dry weather we have been experiencing. Staff were very friendly, as were the members. We thouroughly enjoyed our visit so much we are going back in 2 weeks time. If you can hit the ball straight an fairly long you can shoot a very good score here. It is a lot better than some of the more expensive courses in the area.

Quite a short course, but the greens were in good shape... some testing holes and greens made it an enjoyable round (probably not as fun if you are a big hitter).

A great course especially for mid to high handicaps. Fairways are forgiving greens are great. All in all a great course to play all year round.

I am a new golfer only started about a year ago but love this course. It has nice wide fairways, some tricky holes. The short 7th with it's pond at the back of the green is very off putting, slight overhit and your ball has gone forever. A good course for a high handicapper (like me 28). I have played this course 4 times now and 3 times have broken the 100 mark, netted down to just over par.

i live in epping and think im lucky to have this course on me doorstep,great course all year round at value for money. I play fo a 14 handicap but i still cant par that 1st hole.Worth a round if in local area enjoy

It has to be the friendliest club I have ever played, the club house facilities are limited but adequate. The course has many water hazards and is challenging for all standards of golfers.

this is a small out of the way club, which has some very interesting holes. Not just drive it up the fairway, pitch onto the green and putt out like some others. Greens great nearly all year round, friendly staff and the guy that owns it, plays it, and works on it
