What the club says: An undulating parkland course in top condition with many water hazards and extensive views over Essex countryside. The least expensive yet best quality course in the London suburbs.

This course never closes, other than Xmas day. Have played here five years and owner has gradually improved the course.
Although not a long course it is built on several hills which add to the challenge. This is particularly the case when playing laterally and hitting off the slopes.
Some of the greens have steep slopes which are a challenge in summer when the grass is short and the greens dry.
Clubhouse staff very friendly and helpful.

Cant believe the greens are still open. If you stand on them in the same spot for to long, you begin to sink. Hopefully the green keepers know what they are doing as they are great in the summer.

Very welcoming to visitors although the course was busy as players from another local course had come over as theirs was closed. A lot of rain the previous day meant it was pretty soft but no winter tees or temporary greens was a massive plus. The course is not long and pretty compact but plenty of trees, hills and tight doglegs means you can't over power it and need to play positionally a lot. A great stop off or travelling course and I'm sure on queiter days you could get round pretty quick.

This is a short forgiving coarse with great views. The coarse is very well maintained and for £15 you cant ask for more. The club offers some hot and cold beverages but no licence so no beer.

Nice course that is worth a visit. Not a long course but it's also not a driver on every tee! Sloping fairways and plenty of hills make this an interesting course. Bunkers are poor and they appear to be filled with broken green glass! Greens were in a very good condition, but I played during a thunderstorm and they were very wet.

Compact course no par 5 but requires a lot of skill with hils and fast greens. Requires accuracy of the tee.

The coarse is quite short and very forgiving. Although the coarse does not have a signature hole, it doesn't have any boring ones. The greens are quite fast and hard to read. Great views and only £15 P/R
