Played Theydon for the first time last month. A really tight course but in great condition. Greens were well maintained and the club house is well appointed. They have a loyalty scheme now where you buy 4 rounds and get the 5th free so quite a good incentive to play again. Swerve your shot off line and you'll be punished! Thinking mans course 100%.

A testing course with some delightful holes. A tremendous feel good factor is achieved playing this course.

A course that requires accuracy and cunning rather than brute force. Wayward drives will be punished and if you can work the ball, then the course will open up tremendously.
Due to it's age, there may be some temporary greens over the winter - which can be frustrating. However, they are absolutely immaculate in the summer and this more than makes up for it.
A great course that keeps on surprising you!

A tough course made harder by tight fairways and lots of forest, but very nicely maintained and good pro shop.
