Played on October24 by kind invitation through Paxtons JCB agent . It is one of the best layouts ,well sculptured to make you think and become excited about every shot ,always a heroic route as well as the strategic . There had been very heavy rain but no sign of water logging here . It’s long everything different you can recall most of the holes,9 and 10 stand out . The Lodges,best night sleep ever . Thank you Alex for showing me around ,cuisine matched all .Reviewer Rating

Beautiful course
This is a beautiful course. Well organised with great new club house and everyone makes you welcomeFor me with a 28 handicap I found it hard with the long unforgiving fairways and greens but for the lower handicapper I think it would be a great challenging course

This is an excellent course in it's very early days which will prove to be "one of the best" in the UK when it develops and matures. It has a dozen or so outstanding holes with the others being very impressive. Plenty of water hazards and of course the breathtaking signature 270 yard par 3 17th which has an island green !Reviewer Rating
