Bawtry Golf Club is an 18 hole parkland course. It measures nearly 7,000 yards off the white tees, which is ideally challenging for accomplished golfers. Off the yellow tees the course is more appropriate for the higher handicap golfer. It is perfectly situated and the design of the course has utilised the surrounding landscape to full effect. Lovely course, nice and flat yet still challenging with trees/bunkers and water, all keep youur shot selection and course management sharp. Kept really well, greens are quick and challenging. Pleasure to play, even though i got a 10! :-)

Our society played this course after the 2 weeks of heavy rain we have had, and couldnt believe how good the condition of the course was. All the staff and members we spoke to were very helpful and friendly. Will definately revisit in the near future

Visited in December with a group of 24, we had a great day, the course was in excellent condition especially considering the time of year. In the clubhouse the staff were very helpful accomodating dietary requirements without prior warning. All in all a good day & excellent value for money (pity we could'nt arrange the weather quite as well!).

Visited before Xmas and New Year and in general the course was in excellent condition. Course is very long with some good hidden hazards if its your first time. Clubhouse, staff and food were very good and our party of 12 were excellently looked after.

For a cold wet december day, the course was still playable. Greens where good condition. No temp greens, just a few temp tees. Course was more interesting than you would have thought looking at the card, lots of undulations make every hole different. Will play again in the summer

This is the first time I have played this course and was very impressed with the condition of the course in general, but the greens in particular as it is early december and they run like most others in mid July - Well done and keep it up. I hope to revisit the course in the near future.

Flat course with some long par 4's. Because it's flat it lacks a bit of challenge but it's OK.

Have just re-joined this club after a year away.
Its a long course but quite open so you can take a driver to most holes (best to leave in the bag on the 4th) Greens and tees are in good nick but some of the fairways can be a bit bare. If you play to your handicap you have had a good day. A very good winter/bad weather course as its on sandy soil.

Played here for the first time last week took advantage of there early bird offer which is only £18 if you tee off before 7am, as a high handicapper I found the course challenging but very enjoyable. Plenty of hazards for wayward shots and you need to plan your way around the course I took the driver out to often and paid the price for it. The greens are excellent and very fast, the fairways were in a bit of a state due to the recent long hot spell but the aprons and greens were in good nick. Will definately be going back soon.

Had its troubles in the past, but back on the road to recovery now. Good parkalnd sort of course, with wide fairways and undulating greens. Only slight problem, is that the front 9 should be swapped round with the back 9.

Im a member here but i wont be renewing. Nice enough curse but a bit samey. Very flat and dull. Good condition and future plans for lakes etc. Could be good but average at the moment
