The course was quite busy and tee off times where running about 25 mins later than booked, however the pace of play wasn't too bad. Its a nice course with an interesting mix of holes. The greens where playing fast for the time of year and for £15 on a saturday, you can't complain.

having been a member for two years now i find the course very challenging as specially in the wind. also the members very friendly and also helpful. the facilities are very good but the cost drinks are dear compared to other courses. The membership fees make the course very good value for money.

Very nice course really enjoyed playing it. Very well set out and the par 5 3rd hole is a monster 664 yds. The greens were very nice for october. On a par with morley hayes 8 out of 10.

Fairly new course but getitng a good reputation. Has a massive par 5 (about 680 yards) and a cracking last hole. Plenty of other good holes to tease you. Slighlty hilly, but worth a visit. Has a driving range and putting green. Good cheap food in the clubhouse.

I had passed this course many times and it looks great. I played it Monday for the first time and was not disappointed.
The Pro shop is not the best with a very small range of products.
The driving range was quite good at 250yds, although the range balls were like a throw back from the early 80's.
The course itself is nicely shaped and has a par 5 664yrd off yellow (712yds off white). In a good few years when all the trees have started to mature a little, each fairway will be more defined as at the moment it is quite open. The bunker vary in size and depth which is great, with proper pot bunkers at the side of a few greens. The greens weren't bad for the damp weather we have had.
The bar restaurant is quite big and very clean, overlooking over the 18th green. Food was well priced and backed up with great service. Also a great pint of Guinness can be had.
I will play this course again that is for sure, at £18 its a bargain

Quite a nice course that is pretty flat and long. Walking from green to the next tee is sometimes a trek. 714yd par five off whites has to be one of the longest holes in the country.
It is a young course with a lot of young saplings lining every fairway, so even though the holes have meandering fairways, the greens are easily visible from most tees. give it a few years though, and this course will become increasingly difficult, the fairways will seem narrower and the numorous out of bounds will come more into play.

I played here as heard good comments from fellow players and decieded to give it a go . Tee'd of at 8:30 the guy in the pro shop obviously had something better to do as he was not interested at all in chatting to us or welcoming us to the course. The course was a little challenging as im a 28 handicap but was a good challenge and extremely well cared for . Bunkers were hit and miss with three types of sand being used ....sharp,building and play. Would recommend to anyone thats a big hitter and very accurate . For the high handicappers like me there are better friendlier courses out there

I recently joined as a member at Styrrup Golf Club. Greens are in excellent condition as so are the fairways. This course is fairly challenging and tight in some places. The course is fairly long. You will be able to use a driver off most of the tees. As I play with a handicap of 26 it is the ideal course for me to improve my game. All the staff are very friendly as to are all the members, and facilities are fantastic (Driving Range, Club House - excellent meals and a nice pint, Pro Shop - stocked well, Putting Practise Green, Chipping Practice Area and plenty of parking) The course is fairly new with plenty of new trees and shrubs that are not fully grown. I can imagine in a few years time it will be a very challenging and imaculate course if it is looked after in the way it already is. Would highly recommend this golf club to anyone of any standard.
