The course was OK. A lot of the holes were the same which is a bit boring. Clubhouse is dated and the food was poor. Not worth the asking price for a greenfee

Played this course for the first time in 30years and it did not disappoint, excellent conditioned course with great, quick putting greens.
The only thing to outdo he course was the weather fortunately.

Very challenging for a high handicapper!! Superb course though with some spectacular holes and views! Really enjoyed the round - but you'd better be accurate or your in the long stuff in a huff! Very well maintained course of the highest standard.

Fantastic open course with brilliant views
You can open your shoulders on this course and really let rip. Playable all year round (when other local courses are closed) as it drains well. Wind is the norm, frequently in the teens mph with gusts in the 20s (like today). The course is maintained to a very high standard and all staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 86 Handicap: 16)

Views to kill for
A hilly course the weather can well be one of the challenges due to the wind, from the first tee the views over Dorchester are superb, a long downhill par 4 where a good drive can leave you with 150 to go. Best view is from the 15th green where you can see both sides of Portland, round to Devon across Lyme Bay, coming back on the final hole on a clear day the needles of the I.O.W are visible.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 115 Handicap: 34.4)

Greens in great condition. nice Tee boxes and some wonderful views as a result of the elevated terrain.

A good course with a few challenging holes, best played on a sunny day as the winds cause a lot of problems even when you hit good shots they tend to be carried with the wind.

Lovely views
Well kept course with the most beautiful of views wherever you look. Greens will cause the very best difficulties and you need to get away on the fairway shots from the tee boxes. Lovely atmosphere around the course and club itself.Reviewer Rating

Top of hill overlooking Weymouth/Portland to the South and valleys and hills northwards to Dorchester. Wide fairways, all very interesting. Excellent condition. Friendly club.

Fantastic course
Very varied holes and greens very tricky indeed- various undulations. Very well kept bunkers with plenty of sand and well raked. Fairways wide and open in most cases. Wind direction a test. Fabulous scenery.Reviewer Rating

Hilly but Good
Played a few weeks ago. The course has some great holes. The wind was brutal, great views, 9 of us played everyone thought the course was great. Oh and nice clubhouse.Reviewer Rating
