Queens Park Golf Club
(Dorset, United Kingdom)
Queens Park is renowned as a rural haven in the middle of Bournemouth and celebrated its centenary in 2005. Once a regular on the European Tour, the course has hosted many major professional tournaments including players of the calibre of Tony Jacklin, Henry Cotton and Seve Ballesteros. There remains a distinct sense of history as well as a very mature and challenging course, where management of the game takes the driving seat to power play. The fairways meander freely through many acres of lovely heathers, colourful gorse and all in a wonderful pine woodland setting. The greens are fast and true, providing a good challenge to even the best golfers.
