We have played on quite a few courses of late and try and go to a different course every couple of weeks. This course by far is the worst course i have ever played!!! The front 9 holes are just shocking! How anyone can land a ball and keep their ball on the fairways is beyond me. The majority of fairways on the front 9, have a slope on them that makes it near on impossible to land and stay on them. Nearly every ball that landed on the fairway, ended up rolling yards down the slope. Good shots should be rewarded by at least a half decent lie!
The greens are shocking too! I know we are just coming out of a heavy bout of snow and winter has just passed but there is hardly any grass on the greens, holes every where and in general, just a shocking state.
The back 9 holes are much better in terms of the fairways but again, the greens (if thats what you can call them) are a disgrace.
Happily never coming back!

The greens were very good, but you have to be very careful on the front nine with your footing.

Sherpa needed!
That third hole though. Yes it’s a tough 9. The back is flat though. £15 on a Monday which is good value. Fairways are decent, tee boxes about average, greens are about average, better than some in the area.Reviewer Rating

Watch out for hole 3 - The Alps
Excellent condition course, very welcoming staff. Greens and fairways perfect on a hot sunny day. Hole 3 is a killer, aptly called The Alps (literally light headed as we reached the green). Playing partner affected so badly he quit after 9 holes.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 91 Handicap: 5)

a course of two halves
Nice facility, first time playing here.Very much welcomed as visitors and a nice course preview from the Pro's dad.
First half is very hilly and a good challenge both in terms of fitness and course management.
Second half is around the bottom of the valley, it had been raining a lot and the fairways/rough were a bit boggy. Somehow the greens were in lovely condition still. Would love to come back and play in the summer.
