Westwood Golf Club
Westwood Golf Club is set in rolling Staffordshire countryside on the outskirts of the historic market town of Leek. The picturesque course rises gently from its setting in the beautiful River Churnet valley, with peaceful views across the valley to the wooded hills beyond. The club is only 7 miles from Stoke-on-Trent city centre. The 18-hole, 6105 yard, par 70 course can be enjoyed by golfers of all ages and abilities. It is sufficiently demanding for the more experienced, but not overwhelming for novices.

great course for all abilities, first nine very challenging as quite hilly but very different holes.back nine flat but still challenging holes,the greens are the best ive played,all well maintained and in excellent condition!!

Although only played one round on this course, it was clear that the Club, as a whole, is extremely well managed and the course is very well looked after. The greens were some of the best, if not the best, that I have played on (even in the wet). The proshop and clubhouse were very good and the members we spoke to in the clubhouse were both welcoming and friendly. All in all we had an excellent day and are ready to join the club in 2010.

quality course and well worth a round you need to be orepared for the 3rd very very steep uphill hole 1st nine is for mountain goats back 9 is in the valley and quite flat and is allways in good condition
