Very nice club house, one of the best in Derbyshire i reckon. Worth a round if in area, couple of very similar back to back par 4's kind of add an element of 'da ja vu' but overall not a bad course.

Course is in excellent condition right now, even with all the rain fairways are dry and greens are playing slow, but true.

Winter holes are a bit average, but the rest of the course is stunning and well worth a round. M1 noise ina minus too.

played with a society, good value for money, is a little expensive at the weekend if you can get on, some good holes, like the quarry holes, a little noisey as it is alonside the M1

Another good local course that is a good test for golfers of all abilities and I particularly like the two par 3 holes in the quarry. A good selection of holes involve water but the big trees down the side of the first have suddenly aquired stakes!!!! The club house and changing rooms are currently undergoing extensive modernisation.
