First time I’ve played here since it’s been under new ownership. Frankly, I would not recommend anyone to travel to this course when there are so many courses of similar cost but much better maintained within 15 mins drive. The fairways are well maintained, narrow in places but the greens are beyond awful. The course layout is very odd and often you have to wait to play because holes overlap each other or run very, very close. I played during a weekday and as most courses,the majority of players were of more mature years. However, none would let me play through - I started jumping holes just to maintained some sort of momentum. Despite them being incredibly slow and me clearly waiting on the tee, they would spend an age looking for lost balls and one gentleman had a 10 minute phone conversation on the fairway. It’s my nearest golf course but I shall not return anytime soon.

Poor Greens
Not a long course being a par 31. However, some long Par 3"s and tight fairways with mature trees.Reviewer Rating

Excellent Value
A very challenging course with tight fairways and good undulating greens. Friendly staff that provide advice for first time visitors. Will definitely use this course again.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 100 Handicap: 28)

This was only my 3rd attempt on a 9 hole course, played Pewit in September.
A pleasantly surprising tight nine hole course with excellent value for money to be had, a 9 hole round comes in at just over £6, superb value, staff very nice and the course was in excellent condition, greens a little slow compared to the few other courses I've played but that didn't effect my overall score which was quite high, managed to get close to the greens in two shots easily, but then my short game showed me why I'm more likely to make double bogey's than any other score.
Great little course certainly worth a go..

Nice course, greens good, tough course to read so had to be spot on with apprach shots, but nice syarter for my dad and me.

Short course good for practise. Some challenging holes and generally well kept but is municipal course and suffers from a lot of stars walkers, children, pets etc.

Not the best course in the area. Council run so it's not really looked after that well. The greens are terrible. It's like putting on the fairways which are looked after better than the greens.
The only good thing about this course is that it's a really tight and narrow course so accuracy is a must.
