Good course in generally good condition.. greens are in good condition and well looked after so sadly that does mean the odd temp in winter!
I have played here a few times and if i get more time to play would join here as it is a friendly club - once you get to know the real people.
Downside? there are a few moaners and they need a spike bar)

There is great deal on at the moment - £30 for visitors. Great tee boxes fairways greens

First time round here. Worth playing at curently reduced green fee of £30. Many bunkers on the course, some of which are blind from the tee, and several round a lot of the greens. Course was in very good condition and enjoyed going round.

Since last playing course has improved somewhat although the day I played it was on temps!! It was a cold and frosty day but as we worked our way around the course the green keeper took it off temps.
Disappointed with the service we got from a rather abrupt Bar Steward who clearly irritated by being interrupted texting on his mobile phone. Due to his size I felt intimidated and this would put me off coming again. The kitchen staff were very pleasant and had excellent food and service.

Hi this is my home course and it has been made harder and narrower bt the green keeper. Quite a challenge now but in excellent condition.

I have played this course as a visitor about 2 times a year for the last 10 years. It has some tight holes and some easier open holes. You can score well here but he shortness of some holes is compensated by the sometimes tight lines. It is very well maintained and the club facilities include a practice ground and nets. The club house provides good food and the members and staff are very accomodating. The setting is lovely and there are wild deer on the course at times. This is the best course in the area and easily beats nearby Cherry Lodge , Broke Hill and High Elms as top dog. The pubs around the corner in Downe are also worth a visit. I would join but as I am 51 over 50's can only have 5 day membership as they are aiming at a more youthful entrant.

My home course, great condition in the summer, too many temp greens in the winter though and can't tee off before 8am. other than that great tough course.

Good nick for the time of year
Green running really well, thankful course had been closed since Weds as meant we were lucky enough to get it untrodded. Also lovely lady at the halfway house
