Park Wood Golf Club
Set on a backdrop of ancient woodland, the course has matured well and provides scenic views over the Darent Valley. It has been built to specific USPGA standards and so features excellent drainage - allowing it to open virtually all year round - and the substantial eighteen holes provide a generous par 72.

Location: DIRECTIONS FROM BIGGIN HILL Pass Biggin Hill airport (on your left) and go straight across the roundabout. Continue down main road passing the Black Horse pub and Biggin Hill library to the traffic lights. Turn right and follow the road round to the right (Stock Hill) to the roundabout then turn left into Sunningvale Avenue. At the end of Sunningvale Ave. go straight over the staggered junction into Rickets Hill Road and continue down this lane for approximately 2.5 miles passing a school on the left and a church on the right. Just before you reach the end of this lane, as you come to the tee junction, turn sharp left a few metres before the junction, into Chestnut Avenue where you can find the entrance to the Club approximately 200 yards along on your left hand side. DIRECTIONS FROM M25 Junction 5 Follow the signs for WESTERHAM (A21 & A25) In Westerham pass the Churchill Memorial statue on the green and the zebra crossing then turn right onto the B2024 signposted to Croydon. Pass under the M25 and Pilgrim's Way climbing to the top of the hill where you will see black and white chevrons. Turn sharp right into Church Hill and immediately right again into Chestnut Avenue (virtually a 'U' turn). The Entrance to the Club is approximately 200 yard on your left.

Thoroughly enjoyed this course, even though it was pretty wet on the day - greens were in very good shape, some genuinly challenging holes with water hazards, ditches and even a bomb crater to negotiate! Got there early and the members waiting to go out were all chatty and helpful. Staff very friendly and welcoming, food was excellent - seriously thinking of taking out a membership!

a long long course but very open, thought it was bit expensive for what it was but i guess thats the area it is in
