I have played this course as a visitor about 2 times a year for the last 10 years. It has some tight holes and some easier open holes. You can score well here but he shortness of some holes is compensated by the sometimes tight lines. It is very well maintained and the club facilities include a practice ground and nets. The club house provides good food and the members and staff are very accomodating. The setting is lovely and there are wild deer on the course at times. This is the best course in the area and easily beats nearby Cherry Lodge , Broke Hill and High Elms as top dog. The pubs around the corner in Downe are also worth a visit.

This is a truly wonderful place to have a round of golf and then eat and relax after. The staff are welcoming, the food is great and good value for money and even the Secretary came and said hello! I visited West Kent over 5 years ago and cannot believe the transformation on and off the course. I live fairly locally and have heard such good vibes about West Kent I had to see for myself. There are a group of us ladies that are thinking about joining so watch this space. Well worth a trip a great day had by is girls.

My home course, great condition in the summer, too many temp greens in the winter though and can't tee off before 8am. other than that great tough course.
