Not bad. Could do with a little more colour around the course. Very plain. Very hilly. Recommend getting a buggie if you can. Only 6 buggies available, so get in quick.

Course in very good shape with quick/firm greens and lush fairways, if you can avoid the trees you can score really well

I am a member here. I would say the course, clubhouse & facilities compare very favourably with other local courses. The course is not exceptionally long overall but it is far from easy. Most of the par 3s are about 190 yards and a couple of the other holes play very long, particularly the 1st (466 yards par 4 into the prevailing wind) and the 600 yard par 5 17th. Most of the fairways are quite tight and side slopes mean that accurate driving is essential. The course is exceptionally well kept and although there are mats on the par 3s in winter it is very rare that the main greens are not in play. The course is often open when others are closed. The clubhouse is friendly (not stuffy), the pros are helpful (and good teachers) and the half-way house is the best I know for a bacon roll or homemade soup. Those considering membership will value the fact that (apart from Sunday morning) they can just turn up and play with no booking required. Those looking for a course to visit for the day should definitely give it a try.

Played a few days ago. I'm in the processs of looking for a new club and this was on the list. Not any more! Pro was quiet and generally a little unhelpful (more interested in chatting to a friend), Some interesting holes and long par 3's but the majority were shortish and/or straight par 4's. Condition was fair but course improvements are limited since I last played here 7-8 years ago. Empty in clubhouse afterwards. Expensive GF - Perhaps everyone in WGC goes cycling these days.

Played the course a few times as me and a friend were looking for a new club to be a member of as our club had declined in standard due to lack of members. The course is always in good condition and the club very friendly one of the reasons I joined was because of the club Pro Stuart who I now have lessons with he made us feel really welcome on both occasions we tried the course he also gave me a free yardage chart and after the round asked how our round was and what we thought of the course he also introduced us to the General Manager David who was just as helpful giving us membership packs if all clubs had a pro like this golf club would be in a much better state.

A good course well kept. Does lack water hazards but is still challenging in many ways with slopes from one side of the fairway to another. Fun to play.
