Panshanger Golf Complex
THE 18TH GREEN
The main golfing facility is an 18-hole championship course set in a picturesque valley on the outskirts of the town. The Par 72 course is over 6,300 yds in length and is superbly maintained throughout the year.
THE 9-HOLE PITCH & PUTT COURSES
Other golfing facilities include a 9-hole Pitch and Putt course, Putting Green and a substantial practice area.

I was playing at another course in the area but to be honest, i prefer this one. A good variety of holes and very well kept will keep me coming back.

This is a course I seem to be visiting more and more often. Picturesque, challenging, hilly and in good condition, it provides more than a challenge for my 25 handicap. A good combination of holes provides enough variety for a very enjoyable round of golf.

Very good course only let down by the speed of play. A round taking 4 3/4 hours is not fun.

This is a gem of a course and you cannot beat it for value for money. For the 1st time player there are a few blind shots, so a course guide is useful.

For a public course this is excellent. Interesting layout, fairly short, one or two excellent holes. Greens and fairways see lots of action and are not always as good as you would like. However, overall a course that I enjoy very much. The course is quite hilly.

Panshanger is a gem of a course and for £20 weekdays and £25 weekends you cant really complain.
I was very impressed with the quality if the greens and how well kept the fairways are. The only down side is that there did seem to be a bit of GUR, but this was mainly due to the addition of new bunkers on some of the holes. Other wise i cant fault it. The club house and bar is also nice and the Pro shop (while smallish) stocked everything you will need.
I will be back.

As always the greens are very good here and run true. A couple of testing long-ish Par 5's and some great Par3's with the pick of the bunch being the 155 yard 14th. A new pro-shop has improved the club, but the clubhouse bar is still a little tired.

This is one of the best public courses you will find in the entire country. I have played on a fair number of private courses and I'll choose this ahead most of them anyday!

Course in very good condition (late July). Tight in places with lots of elevation changes & blind shots. Quite a compact course with some holes/fairways close together. Overall in very good condition.
