So enjoyable.
I really had lots of fun playing here. Some tight holes from the tee but as its not the longest you can navigate yourself around without having to hit driver on every hole.
The trees will come into play if you are wayward but they are fair. The green are super and if you miss them you need to do it in the right place.
Bunkers superb, views are stunning and given some of the other courses in the area this really does hold its own.

Fantastic course
Tight fairways with bunkers well placed around small fast greens makes this a good test of golf . This is a course that requires good course management .(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 85 Handicap: 11.8)

Hidden Gem
Played the course for the first time today, what a wonderful experience, some stunning holes & stunning views, accurate driving & iron play needed to small well protected greens. Greens & tees were in excellent condition, fairways tight & well manicured. A GEM!!Reviewer Rating

Disappointed
Have played some great courses in Surrey but I do not feel it’s even in the top ten, layout wise has some nice holes but nothing special, condition was ok but that’s all and certainly not amazing for the Surrey area that can charge a small fortune for membership. Food however was great and a well stocked pro shopReviewer Rating

Like many of the fine old courses in the area they play differently than was intended upon their design 100 years ago, with modern equipment they are vulnerable to longer hitters and coming from my home course which is 600 yards longer i shot 7 under my handicap.
Bit of shame really but that does not detract from the fact that its a great course with plenty of variety, no 2 holes the same, changes in undulations, good quality, tricky quick greens to boot.
Conditioning was excellent as it should be at this time of the year.
Very nice terrace to sit outside the clubhouse with views over the course.
Remains one of my favourite courses, if you thinking about playing it do not hesitate.

First and Third hole are complete blind shots, 11th and 12th run right alongside a main road (whatever you do dont hook it here).

Always a good knock
The only thing I would say is there are lots of lies above and below your feet. Slightly muddy at the moment in a few places but we have had a load of rain, normally a very dry course.Reviewer Rating

An unusual course spread across two areas where you cross a local road three times. Quite hilly and also quite long. The winter condition of the course was good.Reviewer Rating

All good
The only negative and it is only a small one is there is lots of lies with the ball below or above you, But that is the nature of this course and the end of the day.Reviewer Rating
