What a challenge
Great course in excellent condition, fairways and greens immaculate. Feels like 2 different course designers between the front 9 and back 9. One thing that'll improve this course dramatically would be to have coloured flags to identify whether the pin is front, middle, back of the green. Was really tough with club selection for the first time playing the course. A driving range would be fantastic but I think that would be a luxury.(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 85 Handicap: 17.7)

Lovely Course with some Great Holes
Really enjoyed this course. This course is a great example of a course where you don’t want to miss fairways or greens. If you do, the run offs or penalisations are high danger. Will definitely return, and will definitely play it differently the 2nd time.Reviewer Rating

Great course.

I played here today 14th November 2014. As a player coming back into golf it was really pleasing that as others have mentioned both the course was very well kept and in great condition and both staff and other players were extremely welcoming and friendly. 3 Locks is a tight course with lots of natural hazards due the River Ouse running through it and the Grand Union canal skirting the edges and really is a must play course if you live in the area. I live 13 miles away. A special thanks to Mark, a member (Short grey hair and he is a big hitter, wore a 3 Locks fleece and rustic red trousers) and his playing partner for inviting me to join them due to slow players at the 6th. It was very welcome on my behalf, but I am just at that stage of starting off on my golf journey again and I didn't want to hold you up anymore than the 2 guys in front of us. It really was appreciated though.

The greens were very ropey and the areas around the greens where the wet weather has been are in a poor state where there is no grass only dirt which isn't rolled down

Course was in reasonable condition considering the weather , we played on a really windy day which made it really challenging .

I play the 3 Locks regularly and at £10 before 7am or after 3pm it's brilliant value. The course is always in reasonable nick and the greens are average to good. You won't find better
