Woburn Golf Club
The fairways of the 6,963 yard Duke's course are lined with pine, silver birch and chestnut trees. The famous third hole is framed by rhododendron bushes and has recently been voted in the World's Top 500 Holes by Golf Magazine. Heather, bracken and gorse add to the charm of the course as well as the natural hazards of each hole.

I was not overly impressed for a course renound as one of the top courses in the uk.
I felt the greens were slow the bunkers did not much sand in (hit mud) and no stand out hole to remember.
The club house was very nice and the food was great.Club Facilities and Services

Just played the dukes course, in very good condition, greens responsive, and as per normal, penalised if you miss the fairway, but not too badly

Course is exceptional, greens are challenging but true irrespective of weather, friendly staff, very good facilities.
Cost per round is expensive but it certainly means the upkeep of the courses is fantastic. If you ahve the opportunity, grab it with both hands.

brilliantly presented. great mix of holes (except for the weird water par 4 on the back 9 that just doesn't fit ) well looked after by brilliant team. Woburn is a great day out.

Took their Winter Deal - 2 rounds (Marquees and Dukes) with Bacon Roll and Coffee on Arrival and 2 Course cavery Lunch. Well it was worth every penny - excellent golf courses, superb facilities and staff that were friendly and welcoming - all in all a most excellent days golfing.

Played the Dukes, & started with a birdie. However the course got its own back in the end! Really enjoyed the course and the whole set-up. A great day and my new favourite championship course - I would call it tough but fair.

Duchess course was outstanding, amazing design, outstanding greens, immaculate fairways and tough to boot. You need to be straight, straight, straight. The Marquees course was also really good, although the greens were not as good as i expected, but still incredibly tough. I was pleased to walk off with some kind of dignity on most holes! Amazing facilities and great experience.

Woburn have three excellent courses, I have played all three with a member, otherwise it would have been very expensive , all three courses are very challanging but worth a visit

My Partner took me to play for my Birthday, i had two rounds. One on the Duchess in the Morning and then one in afternoon on the Dukes. The course's were different class, very well kept, the staff were brilliant with advise and help. The best birthday present ever!

Played the dukes course a few weeks ago and was blown away by the whole set up, played on a corperate freebie so excellant value for money!!! after the summer we have had expected a few sloppy patches and slow greens, how wrong can one be! greens were very receptive but also lightening fast and the course was a good test of golf through all abilities! played with a 5 handicapper a 22 and a 26 and all scored well on the team stableford, that well in fact we came second norrowly missing out on the top prize on a count back!! found the club house friendly, fairly priced and food was excellant good facilities and a well stocked pro shop to but

What can I say...Fantastic golf course. Played the Marquess on a nice sunny day. The fairways were stunning and the greens were cut beautifully and played fast. An excellent course with great facilities. Yes it costs a fair bit of money but you get what you pay for.
You can certainly see why the British Masters were once held here. In it's current condition I would not be surprised if they returned soon....
Highly recommended for all golf lovers.
