The Suffolk Golf & Country Club
The Genevieve Course is widely regarded as one of the prettiest 18 hole layouts in Suffolk. A parkland course with The River Lark gently meandering through the fairways, the 6,391 yard championship standard track is a regular venue for the EuroPro Tour. The course offers a tough but fair test with water on almost every hole. The lush, soft fairways are kept in beautiful condition and with mature trees and out of bounds complementing the water as the course's major hazards, playing to your handicap will always be regarded as a successful round.

Joined this club recently based on a very warm welcome from the club and staff. Excellent club for a busy working golfer where playing weekends is the normal.
Very good value for money and although the course is in need of improvement the enjoyment from playing here makes up for it, challenging, interesting and rewarding.
This is well worth considering and provides a good service and value for money clubThe Course

an awful course, i can say that this is the worst course i have ever played on. and i have played on alot. tees are lumpy and long-looks like they are cut with a strimmer by a blind man, the fairways are good, the greens are full of ruts, unrepaired divots and inconsistent grass lengths, the flags are torn and tatty, not one ball cleaner had water in it, the ditch dredging was left all over the place, no next tee signs, lack of yardage markers. if they only charged a fiver for a round i wouldnt go back here.

We just played the course on saturday 5th march and to be honest we were pretty disapointed at the condition of the fairways and greens. It was like they have been neglected and we never saw a greenkeeper at all and no good signage to show where next hole was and a real lack of distance markers too. Also in the bar the staff didnt even know about the winter special we had gone for so there was confusion there but food that did appear was good.Overall a poor experience some one needs to spend some time and money on this course.
