Heavy Going

A tough course especially in the wind. The Tees were not in good condition although rest of course was OK.

Played here a few times over the years and was disappointed with the course condition this time. Used to be one of my favourite courses but greens had been spiked recently from the looks of things and nearly all the tee boxes were in poor condition. The once bouncy fairways, now seem to have lots of divot marks. Still a great course but losing its appeal with me, hope the greenkeepers raise there game and make this course quality again?

The course conditions were very good but with the lack of trees and water coming into play made getting round very tricky. Add to this heavy rain after the eight and heavy wind, keeping your tee shot low was essential.

the fairways were in good condition, although the greens were very sandy, they ran fairly true. I like the layout of the course although you have to be of a good standard to play here as the wind plays a big part in your round as the course is so open. There is only one hole driveable which is the 6th

as it was march its not a massive point but i feel the fairways could be looked after a little better and the order of play should of been managed a little better. As i was in a 2 ball and all the others where 3 or 4 balls. was waiting around as wasnt asked to play through. There was no one in the hut at the start.

although i didnt have a bad round, including a birdie on the second, I expected a top championship course... and well the bunkers did not have much sand in, on the fairways

i was a little disappointed with the state of the fairways as there was divots galore, the greens were running true
