What the club says: Bragbury Course - The challenging 18-hole John Jacobs designed Parkland Golf Course is recognised as one of Hertfordshire’s premier golf courses. It is both challenging and rewarding playing over 6352 yards with many natural hazards for both you and your party to negotiate.
Aston Course - A 9 hole Pitch and Putt family course is available for the golfing novice or seasoned player wishing to brush up on their short game.

Best It's Been In Years
I rarely play the course eventhough I live in the area. However, I played today the course is in the best condition it's ever been in, in my opinion. A lot of money and effort has been invested by its new operators (Everyone Active), the greens are excellent and you can really see the effort that's been put in. Looking forward to playing there again.Reviewer Rating

In good condition
This course played well considering the conditions recently. When playing on mats these could have been bigger to avoid slipping.Reviewer Rating

Testing course
Nice course, good layout with some tricky holes. Most tee boxes are domed and in poor condition and when I played it all the yellow t markers were actually placed at red marker!! Cost for round was reasonable at ?28 but cost of buggy at ?36 was over the top!! Will play it again but walk!!Reviewer Rating

Things are looking up
Stevenage provides a good challenge to all levels of golfersYou need to plan your way around this parkland type course trees pop up in a umber of the fairways and you need to position your drives well to get a clear second into the greens
The greens are now recovering well after a few problems through the winter staff are working hard and the improvement is noticeable
They have recently installed Trackman for all bays on the driving range so you can tune up your club distances accurately
Staff in Pro shop are friendly and helpful there is a good choice of merchandise at the usual prices
The Clubhouse offers a good selection of meals and snacks the 18 hole breakfast is well worth the money
The Club can welcome society golfers and have a function room if required

Somewhat disappointing
My friend and I played at Stevenage in July 2023. It's a course we have played at regularly over the years and it does have some interesting and challenging holes. We found the course in reasonable condition but thought the fairways could have been slightly better cut. The bunkers were, however, better than we had found them before. Over our last few visits, the food has been disappointing and on one occasion there wasn't any because of problems in the kitchen. That wasn't the case this time but the range and quality of the food was again not up to the standard we find at other course. If we play here again, we might decide to go to the pub down the road!Reviewer Rating
