Knebworth Golf Club
Deards End Lane, Knebworth, Hertfordshire, SG3 6NL United Kingdom
Knebworth Golf Club was designed by famous course architect, Willie Park Jr.
Originally a traditional parkland course, it has been transformed during the last half century by the introduction of hundreds of trees, ensuring that the majority of holes are tree-lined. Doglegs embellish the course every few holes which add an additional level of difficulty to the tricky test already on offer. Elevated tees, rolling manicured fairways and large well kept greens will satisfy golfers of all abilities.Book a Tee Time

Still a bit stuffy, good course, but lots of noise from ralway one side, motorway otherside & big building at the far end.

the course looked very well kept, it was just a shame that thunder and lightning spoilt our afternoons golf.

Superb course with miture tree lined fairways means you have to be straight from the tee and the greens are like glass so a reaal challenge awaits

This parkland course was designed by Willie Park Jr (leading golfer of his era and designer of many golf courses, including Sunningdale) in 1908 and is parkland in nature.
There are many mature trees and copses, and narrowish fairways making accuracy off the tee a premium.
The course doesn't benefit from great drainage and really comes into its own in Spring/Summer when it is usually in great condition and is a joy to play.
I have read comments about this being an easy walking course. However, the couse isn't flat and the walk up the 18th fairway can be tiring for some.
Well worth visiting outside of Winter.
